Our Circus Camp is full and we have cancelled the first week of Buttercup Camp, July 1 - 5. There is still some room in the Buttercup camp, July  8 - 12 - Sign up today!

Heartfelt School Summer Garden Camp
For ages 2-7 (and older and younger siblings), Mondays – Thursdays 9 – 1:30
Each week we will tend the school garden and plant seeds that the children can take home to grow in pots or plant in their own gardens. We’ll welcome in the summer through songs, stories, games and craft projects. On warmer days we’ll take walks to the beach to play and collect natural objects for artistic work. Much of our time will be spent outside!!

SEEDS – Turning the Soil and Early Planting  (June 10 - 13)

SPROUTS – Tending the Garden and Planting (June 17- 20)

SHOOTS – Watching Plants Reaching Towards the SUN (June 24 – 27)

BLOSSOMS– Watching the Buds Begin to Open (July 1-3)

Daily Rhythm:
Free play (9 – 10) - Children will have the chance to play freely in the classroom space. We will also have an artistic option available such as painting, sewing, making flower fairies, working with beeswax, and a variety of woodworking projects.
Snack (10 – 10:30) – Sharing a wholesome snack prepared by the teachers and the children.
Outdoor Play (10:30 – 12) – We will head outdoors to garden and play.
Lunch (12 – 12:30) – We will have a picnic lunch weather permitting.
Games/Play (12:30 – 1:00) – After lunch the children will have another opportunity for free play as well as learning some old and new traditional children’s games.
Story Time (1:00 – 1:30) – We will gather together in the shade to hear a story.
Pick up Time – (1:30) - Pick up will happen outdoors whenever the weather permits.

Runaway Ridge Farm Summer Camp 2013 by Merriconeag Waldorf High School graduate, Alexa Perkins
June 17-20 - This camp will offer two days of day camp and an overnight on Wednesday! There will be no camp held on the Friday of this week. Cost: $250
June 24-28 - Five days of regular day camp! Cost: $230

August 19-23 - Five days of regular day camp! Cost: $230

Attend two camps and receive a $20 discount on the second!
Each day of camp will include: At least one riding lesson, crafts, swimming, caring for the horses, unmounted lessons, and games!
Camp will run from 9 AM to 2:30 PM. Afternoon childcare may be available!

Camp Chloė, now in its 8th year, is run by Chloė Rowse, Merriconeag 8th grade class of 2008. Chloė has now completed her freshman year at Colorado College studying everything from Biology and Calculus to the Power of Art in Education! Activities are centered on outdoor play, swimming, cooking, and arts & crafts. There are two sessions: June 17-21, Age 6-8, and; June 24-28, Age 9-11. Sessions run 9AM to 3PM. Cost is $200. Camp is run at Chloė's house off Route 88 in Falmouth. Please contact Chloė if you are interested:


La Petite Ecole's Summer Art in French Camp: Me & the Summer Mask, Monday - Thursday, June 24 - August 29, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., $185/week. The 'petits artistes' bring their own lunch and every week is a new project on the theme, Me and the Summer Mask. 207-347-0030,,

Calling all circus arts students: Have you done the wonderful Circus Arts Summer Camp with John Saccone? If so, you may be ready to take that fabulous foundation to the next level by enrolling in one of Circus Atlantic's summer camp sessions in Yarmouth. The Head Coach for the Circus Smirkus Big Top Tour, Sellam el-Ouahabi (Whistle's Dad) handpicked the three Coaches who will offer individualized teaching in aerials, juggling, clowning, diablo, hula hoop, unicycling, balance and more. Kids in grades K - 9 will have a blast and benefit from the most advanced circus instruction available in Maine.
