10th Grade Maine Term at Merriconeag Waldorf High School
We are pleased to announce that Merriconeag Waldorf High School is offering 10th grade students with some previous Waldorf background (K – 8 or Waldorf homeschooling experience) a unique opportunity to join our sophomore class for 4 weeks, April 14 – May 17, or 8 weeks, April 14 - June 13, during our upcoming 4th quarter.*
Students who join us for Maine term will experience an exciting array of courses with our talented and experienced faculty: Greek History with Kristen Agudelo, Environmental Science with Ellen McCann Labbe, a one week Surveying Intensive (in NH or VT) with Jeff O'Brien, the Bible as Literature with Kristin Agudelo, Pastel Drawing with Johanna Flath, and Kinematics with Nathan Doan (8 week option only). In addition to these core courses, students will choose from a menu of electives such as Bicycle Repair, Ethnic Cuisine, Stage Combat, Zen Archery, Homesteading in Maine, Modern Dance, or an Art option.
Tuition for the program is $800/4 weeks or $1,600/8 weeks and room and board is $25/day.

* Please note: April 21 - 25 is April Break. During that time students may continue with their host family for the $25/day cost or return home if home is nearby.

Evening also includes our high school teachers and students discussing our unique program and Beth Caputi,
our college guidance counselor, sharing her experience of working with our students, and why colleges are eager to have them. Bring your questions.
