High School Information Night

Come and learn more about Maine's only Waldorf High School!

Wednesday, October 22, 7:00 p.m.

Community Hall, 57 Desert Road, Freeport Campus

Marisha Plotnik, a Waldorf high school graduate (Toronto Waldorf School), who currently teaches high school math and physics, will present, "From Clapping to Calculus,"
during which she will share her thoughts about the importance of mathematics in the Waldorf school curriculum and explain how the foundation laid in the early elementary years leads to a meaningful, rigorous and appropriate mathematics program in the middle and high school years.*

Our high school teachers and students will also discuss our unique program and describe what makes our high school experience so rewarding. Beth Caputi,

our college guidance counselor, will share her experience of working with our students, and why colleges are eager to have them. Bring your questions.

*Marisha’s exploration of what, when and why we teach certain math topics in a Waldorf school will be inspiring to parents of students at all levels of the school. All are welcome to join us for this exciting presentation.
