Circus Arts Camp

June 24 - 28

9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
For ages 8 - 12 (entering grades 3, 4, 5, 6)

$225 per week

Summer Camp Afternoon Program Note: If we have interest in an afternoon program for our morning summer camps, we will design a relaxed afternoon for those children who stay. We encourage interested families to contact Melissa Hoy, bookkeeper@merriconeag.org, as soon as possible.

Circus Arts Camp is a fun-filled, week-long workshop led by John Saccone and other guest artists. Our campers will learn and practice the art of juggling, clowning, mime, pyramids, tightrope walking, character study and performance techniques.

John Saccone has been teaching Movement Education at Merriconeag Waldorf School for the past eighteen years. He toured internationally with Tony Montanaro and the Celebration Theater Ensemble. He is a guest artist with the Portland Ballet Company and has performed for twenty four years in their Nutcracker. He is certified in Bothmer gymnastics and is a Spacial Dynamics trainer under Jaimen McMillan. John performs in the duo Reifer & Saccone (www.reiferandsaccone.com).
