Summer Adventure Camp I ~ July 12 – 16, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
For children ages 7 ½ -10 ½ (entering grades 2,3,4)
$175 per week

Summer Adventure Camp II ~ July 19 – 23, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
For children ages 6 ½ - 9 ½ (entering grades 1,2,3)
$175 per week

     The Summer Adventure Camp day is structured rhythmically to give your child the opportunity to enjoy summer through a joyful experience of art and the outdoors. Social skills will be further developed as children participate in camp activities that may include arts and crafts, drama, painting, nature walks, games, treasure hunts, free play at “Gnomeville” in our woods and more.

  

Jennifer Chace has been a class teacher at Merriconeag since September 2008 when she began with her class in first grade. She has been a member of the school community since 1997 and served as a parent volunteer, substitute and assistant until she began her work as a class teacher. Jennifer also teaches therapeutic arts at Merriconeag. She received her A.B. in Art at Mount Holyoke College in1993 and completed the Healing Arts for Classroom Teachers two-year course at Antioch New England University in 2007. Jennifer then went on to study Transformative Arts in the Therapy program at Tobias School for Art and Therapy and to obtain a Masters in Waldorf Education from Antioch New England University.  Jennifer has two daughters in Merriconeag's high school and another daughter in the grade school. She and her family live in Freeport.
